Christmas break YAY!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been one of the best so far.On Tuesday we had a party in bible club we had pizza,a cookie cake,and a bunch of junk.The normal person who runs bible club is in the hospital because she has leukemia but I just got an update on her today.All the cancer cells have been killed so she should be back in February.On Wednesday I went on a field trip to take a tour of SECTA it was awesome if I go there for high-school i'm thinking of taking Welding or 3D film and games and animation.But my favorite part of this week is today its the start of CHRISTMAS break YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

An awesome weekend of serving our communiy

This weekend was awesome.On friday we hung at church.On Saturday we each went to two locations.My group went to the Las Vegas rescue mission and Mt Potesy. At the Las Vegas rescue mission we painted organized the food pantery,wiped down tables and chairs,etc.At Mt Potesy we gathered the loose dry wood up to prevent forest fires and on Saturday night my group hung out at my house.Then on Sunday morning we went back to the church.Overall this was a great weekend.

But among you it will be different.Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servent. and whoever wants to be first among you mst be a slave to everyone else.For even the son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Breakaway weekend YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend we are doing something called Breakaway Every year we go down to UCYC in Arizona  to hang for the weekend they have paint ball, zip lining, competitions,etc.This year we are staying in Nevada and are gonna serve our community at 31 different locations.Then on Saturday night we are gonna break up into groups and stay at someones house.In this case my group is gonna hang at my house.We are gonna stay up later than usual.Then on Sunday we are gonna meet back at the church for service.

A weekend of turkey,shopping and fun

Tomorrow is turkey day yummy turkey we are going to have a bunch of stuff,turkey,stuffing,sweet potatoes,.....etc it is going to be.Every Friday after thanks giving my mom does black Friday I mean she goes all out she wakes up at like 4 or 5 to go shopping.I think its pretty funny (no offence mom).On Saturday or Sunday we are probably going to go to church at some point.Its just gonna be a great weekend.

a Great day

Today was a great day in second period i got my report card all A's and B's.After school today I went to bible club and we were talking about what it means to be a true friend.A few things that we talked about are,A true friend is someone you can rely on and some one that you can trust.Now an accountability partner is someone who is a Christian,the same gender as you are,and the same age you are.For example if you are struggling with anything you can go to them for help and they can do the same for you.A discussion we had last week was we don't understand why they are trying to take God from school.We honestly think its dumb.I also found out that they are trying to take God out of the pledge of allegiance.Other than that it's been an awesome 2 weeks.

Serving at St Judes

Today we woke up,ate breakfast,got ready,and got in the car and went to serve at St Judes.We helped with things like putting up lights,decorating reafs,hammering light up candy canes into the ground etc.We had an awesome time it felt good to help other people.Now we are home just hangin out and relaxing.

A fun day at fuse

Hi blog readers.Yesterday was a pretty cool day last night we all got to hang with our friends at our small groups.We played football had races and chatted.In my group we are gonna be helping my friend be the most social person in the entire house.After group I decided to introduce my small group to the girl I like.On the way home Carl(my group leader) told me that they are gonna be doing the same thing that they are doing with my friend to help him be more social to me to help me be able to talk to her more.

God has given you each a gift from his variety of spiritual gifts.Use them to serve one another.Do you have the gift of speaking?Then speak as if God himself were speaking through you.Do you have the gift of helping others?Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies.Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ.

A day of trials,difficulties,prayer and Love

Today When I was at school more and more kids at my school made fun of me because of what I believe in and one kid tried to knock my bible out of my hand.At lunch I prayed to God for help and asked him to take these trials and difficulties from me and an hour later no one else made fun of me.After school I went to my bible club.As I walked in the room I felt no darkness within myself  or in the room.I then knew I was in the right place and all my worries left me.If this is happening to any who are reading this. Don't let it bother you and pray and ask God to help you through any trials you are going through.

Blessed are you when people mock you or insult you and say evil things against you because you are my followers.

ps I remember this verse whenever people make fun of me or insult me and when any form of darkness comes upon me I know that God isn't far away and that I can talk to him whenever I need to

a cold and rainy day

Hi blog readers its me Jorden.Today as I was going to school I asked my friend if he had anyone that he disliked and he told me he didn't like a few people because they made fun of him because of his hearing.I told him just to try to make friends with them and if that does't work out oh well its there loss. I have had experience like this . People made fun of me because of the way I walked but over the years I just learned not to let it bother me and that the reason they made fun of me was because they were jealous.Later today as I was going to my PE class felt it start to rain as we were playing volleyball it got colder and colder and rained allot.

An Awesome Sunday

Hi blog readers its me Jorden. I just wanted to tell you what we've been doing today.This morning we went to church and one of the things that stuck out to me was that our youth intern was talking about love.He talked about three Greek words for love , Eros, philia,and Agape.Eros= physical love aka looks,philia=friendship,and Agape=God's love. He said how if you don't know God that type of love does not exist.Later we went to the farmers market and bought some fruits and veggies.Now Jase and my mom are watching football and I am just hanging out.

Helping a brother out

 Hi Blog Readers!

This is my first entry and I just wanted to tell you about something that happened this week.  This week a few kids in my class were being made fun of because of the way they looked. After this happened, I went up to the kid who was making fun of them and said, "hey just cool it! There is nothing wrong with them. He quit.

I have had multiple challenges with people making fun of me and my sister. I just want to say if anyone reading is having this same problem just ignore it. If it continues just say, "Hey, I don't want any trouble! Would you please stop?" Then walk away. Then if it continues still consult a Counselor,Teacher,or Dean.
